Pro919® can change the nature of related operations by providing security forces with an effective tool to accurately identify and engage a target with minimal risk to their personal safety. The Pro919® weapon system is an extremely useful weapon type in the global fight against terrorism. It is aimed at protecting the lives of soldiers and increasing their chances of survival. It significantly improves their ability to gather information and communicate the battle scenario. It enables them to detect and engage targets outside their field of view. The Pro919 ® Corner Weapon System is designed to enable security forces to fire at targets from the left, right, front, top or bottom and move to each of these firing positions very quickly without taking their hands off the weapon. This reduces reaction time and improves accuracy in sudden combat situations. The weapon system can be triggered completely from behind the trench.
It is a ‘Domestic and National’ product that has entered the Turkish Armed Forces Inventory.
The advantages of Pro919® to a SWAT OPERATION are as follows:
- The operator can attack a target behind the corner without exposing himself. Pro919® can save his life. It allows the operator to see over and under elevated objects quickly and effectively. The Pro919®'s laser-guided camera sight increases the Operator's shooting accuracy. In addition to these benefits: Central Command receives a live video feed of what is happening on the front line. This leads to a better understanding of the situation and can improve decision-making. By using an additional screen, the officer or soldier behind the Pro919® Operator can see the same image that the Operator sees on the Pro919® screen. This allows the Operator to better support and improve co-ordination. The Pro919® can be set to facilitate recording of the Operator's display. This means that all Target Engagements are documented. This is an effective tool to be used for legal and training purposes.
